I wrote every TBR book I own (not including sequels) on a slip of paper and put them in a jar. From now on, on the first of every month I will be picking a slip of paper from the jar and in that month I have to read that book. If I don't read that book in that month, I have to unhaul it (I am getting my friends help with this because I probably will not be able to uphold this rule, so I am enlisting her help in getting me to follow the rules).
I will be reading some of them in the meantime, and just removing those whenever I pull them, but this will be a way to get to the ones that I never seem to want to read.
This is going to be a really good challenge for me as I have 130 TBR books in the jar (yes, I counted) and that number will likely grow in the next coming weeks.
The first book I pulled from the list is Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks, so I've already started it.
Wish me luck everyone, and if you have any ideas of other ways to decrease a TBR list, let me know in the comments!

Safe Haven is one of his better books and the movie isn't bad either. So good luck and hope you like it
Thanks you!! that's appreciated :D
I have owned the movie since it came out but have yet to watch it because I wanted to read the book, so I'm hitting 2 birds with 1 stone!
